📱 How In-app purchase works

In-app purchases let you immediately buy and activate a license for a user directly within the app.

You can then manage, pay for, or cancel the monthly subscription through the App Store or Google Play

And Olvid will never have access to your payment information.

In-app purchase or Business offer?

In-app purchase is a one-time purchase, particularly suited for immediately equipping a person across all their profiles and devices.

We also offer direct licences, without going through the app stores, starting from a minimum of 10 licences (one per profile), with annual billing, via the Business offer.

Buy a license in the Olvid app

Here is how to purchase a licence for a user via the App Store or Google Play, with subscription and monthly billing:

  • For this operation, use a mobile device and a permanent profile. Do not use a hidden profile or a temporary profile.

  1. From , display your main profile details by tapping the top left corner.

  2. Then scroll down.

  3. Tap the button that allows you to purchase a subscription.

  1. Touch your profile picture, in the top left.

    The list of all your non-hidden profiles is displayed.

  2. Touch the desired permanent profile to purchase a license.

    This profile is actived and its profile photo is displayed in the top left-hand corner.

  3. Touch your profile picture again at the top left, then tap Manage.

    The My Profile screen appears.

  4. Scroll down to the Subscription Status section, which shows you which features you have access to.

  5. Touch View subscription offers.

  6. Touch Start trial now or Subscribe now.

Android

  1. Tap your profile picture, in the top left.

    The list of all your non-hidden profiles is displayed.

  2. Tap the desired permanent profile to purchase a license.

    This profile is actived and its profile photo is displayed in the top left-hand corner.

  3. Tap your profile picture again at the top left, then tap Manage.

    The My Profile screen appears.

  4. Scroll down to the SUBSCRIPTION STATUS section, which shows you which features you have access to.

  5. Touch SEE SUBSCRIPTIONS PLANS.

  6. Touch Start trial now or Subscribe now.
